***TCR GETS 5TH VICTORY IN SR. ROOKIE***

TCR brought home its fifth win in the Senior Rookie event on Saturday, August 11th. The team took on the #11 team for the second time in 2012, this time against a rookie. TCR was without crew chief Ryan Hirschi, but managed to get through the day with the help of mechanic Jerry Crisci.
The track was dusty once again at the beginning of the day, but only got better as the night went on. The handling of the car was great all night long, despite a dent in the right front wheel hub.
The #11 hit the wall hard on the last lap of the second heat, causing severe damage on the right side of the kart, but the team got it fixed in time for the feature. Crisci spun in turn 4 twice in the first practice and once in the second practice, and then once in the feature. However, the almost lap-down #11 also spun in the same turn, and Crisci got around him and cruised to the finish. It was an exciting and competitive race, but TCR ultimately got the win.     PRESS RELEASE: TCR will be running this Saturday, August 18th, for our final race before September 29th, which will be our last race before Novemberfest.
