Team Crisci Racing has officially been crowned the 2021 Clone Heavy Champions at Taylorsville Fairgrounds! The title is the team's first track championship and was wrapped up in the season finale on Saturday, November 6th. Driver David Crisci won the championship by just 2 points over the #14 team that finished in the runner-up position.
This season was the team's first in North Carolina, and featured races on three tracks - Millbridge Speedway for the season-opening Milltona 500, the Dirt Track at Charlotte for the WKA Grand Nationals, and the season championship run at Taylorsville Fairgrounds, affectionately known as "Turkey Lynn's Dirt Track".
The effort this season was amazing, with so many changes happening with the team - a new trailer, two new engines (and new classes never before run by TCR - Predator and Clone), and three new tracks. From competing for the national championship at Charlotte Motor Speedway, to wrapping up the Clone Heavy track championship at Taylorsville Fairgrounds, it was a season for the history books!
Stay tuned for photos from the awards ceremony and year-end track banquet, which will be taking place in the upcoming weeks!
Thanks to everyone who's had a hand in getting Team Crisci Racing to this feat, that's been years in the making! We can't wait for 2022!
