***TCR JOINS @KicknTheTires "LOWER HALF DASH" iRACING SERIES***

Team Crisci Racing is back in action in the 2020 season, but this time around in the virtual racing world! As e-racing and eSports overall have taken over the entertainment world during the recent months, new iRacing leagues have been popping up across the service. In response to the eNASCAR Pro Invitational Series, a NASCAR-sanctioned racing series involving full-time drivers in the NASCAR Cup Series, a team of NASCAR drivers has formed the Kickin The Tires "Lower Half Dash" Series, made up of NASCAR drivers who may not race in Sunday's events (but including some who do), drivers from other NASCAR series and the development ranks, as well as NASCAR team members, crews, and NASCAR media.

Driver David Crisci joins some familiar names such as Matt DiBenedetto, Landon Cassill, Cody Ware, Ryan Ellis, Tanner Berryhill, Tommy Joe Martins, and others who are racing in this series' events.

The first race of the season was on Friday, April 10th, on the dirt oval at Eldora Speedway. The drivers raced in iRacing's Dirt Street Stock division, and the race was streamed live to an online audience via the STN Racing YouTube channel.

48 drivers have entered the series, and David Crisci is right smack in the middle in 24th points position after a crash in the closing laps last Friday.

David Crisci was placed in the #18 car for the event at Eldora. The night started great, as Crisci was 4th-fastest of the 34 cars in the first practice session.

After the first heat, he was able to squeeze into the top-10 with a late pass. Starting 19th in the feature, the 18 car drove up quickly into the top-12 and ran there for most of the race, and was one of the biggest movers in the race: CRISCI Moves Up: Watch

After avoiding some late-race wrecks, the #18 found himself in the 8th position with 5 laps to go of the 100-lap race. However, a stopped car in turn 2 turned into Crisci as he was exiting the corner, and he hit head-on. The impact caused the engine on the #18 to expire, and Crisci ended the race in the pits, in 24th position and 4 laps down. Fortunately, there were cars involved in earlier incidents and so in the 35-car field, it was good fortune to come away with some points.

TUNE IN for Round 2 TONIGHT! Friday, April 17th 2020, at 8pm, as the drivers take to the windy road course of Watkins Glen International, in Lucas Oil Pro 2 off-road pickups. If last night's practice race was any indication, it should be a great show. Crisci came home 12th of 21 trucks in the practice event, after a late spin from once again running in the 8th position with 5 laps to go.
