MOORESVILLE, NC: Team Crisci Racing is excited to announce that after a 5-year hiatus, the karting division of the team is firing back up! Driver David Crisci will pilot the #25 machine this season in the DNQ Series at the famed "RaceWorld USA", Millbridge Speedway in Mooresville/Salisbury, NC. What has become the weeknight hometrack for the personalities of the NASCAR racing circuit, Millbridge has taken the karting world by storm, hosting some of the biggest dirt track events in the nation.
The weekly flat kart series, known as the "DNQ Series", has multiple classes that run once a month from January - October. While the class TCR will run isn't confirmed, it will be either the ARCA or the Busch Series class, which will allow TCR to take advantage of the open tire rule to run Burris tires.
The first race of the season, known as "Milltona" in homage to the NASCAR season-opening Daytona 500, will take place tomorrow, Sunday January 24th. TCR will be in attendance and looking to start of the season strong. There will be a lot to learn, a new track, a new series, and not to mention a totally new engine package - the Predator 212cc as per Millbridge rules. That said, the team is excited to take this huge step, and get a chance to race on one of the most prestigious dirt kart tracks in America.
Stay tuned for updates as the season progresses, and for some other exciting 2021 schedule announcements in the near future!
