**TCR Just Shy of Top-10 in Millbridge Debut

TCR capped off their Millbridge Speedway and DNQ Series debut with an 11th-place finish in the ARCA series A-main feature on Sunday!

In the practice/qualifying session, the team had issues with the engine getting up to power. It was sure to be a learning experience, as the predator motor was completely new to the team. It was a disappointing 16th-place qualifying, running over 2 seconds off the pace of the leaders. The team quickly solicited the help of some other racers at the track, including an old friend from driver David Crisci’s time at GoFas Racing, for help. The team made some adjustments to the motor’s fuel intake that they previously hadn’t been taking advantage of.

The team bounced back in the feature race, picking off spots through the 25-lap caution-filled race, en route to an 11th place finish.

It was definitely the learning experience we expected, and there’s still lots to learn! The team will definitely make some more adjustments as we go on throughout the season to get the most power out of the kart as possible. The good news is the handling was great, and it was also a great experience to start learning a brand new track to find the fast racing lines.

Overall a great debut for the team at Millbridge! Looking forward to our next race in the DNQ Series in March (schedule below on the side bar), and some possible test sessions before then!
