CONCORD, NC - TCR @ WKA NATIONALS ADVANCE
Team Crisci Racing will be participating in the World Karting Association's Maxxis Speedway Dirt Series national event at the famed Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The track that hosts the World Finals of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car series will be where the WKA calls home next weekend, April 14-16th. There are two days of feature racing Friday April 15th and Saturday the 16th, with move-in on Thursday afternoon the 14th.
TCR last competed in a WKA national event in 2013 at Chapel Hill Raceway in Olean, NY. Prior to the 2020 season, this was the last grand national event for the WKA oval series outside of their traditional Daytona Kart Week event. The series has returned as the 2021 WKA Maxxis Speedway Dirt Series presented by Summit Racing Equipment. TCR had a fantastic run in their WKA debut that weekend, finishing 2nd in the overall points for the grand nationals weekend.
The team will be running in the Clone Super Heavys Class on both nights, debuting a Clone motor for the first time along with a first-ever run on Maxxis tires.
Follow along this week on the TCR social channels for updates and coverage as the underdog team prepares for what will be the biggest race of the season!
